Settings panel
The settings panel allows you to configure how Visidea communicates with your website and manage data import and deletion. The panel includes the following sections:
-
Website settings: Set up the connection details for your website. You can configure:
- Website name: The name or domain of your website.
- Users file URL: The URL to the file containing user data.
- Items file URL: The URL to the file containing product data.
- Interactions file URL: The URL to the file containing user interactions (e.g., clicks, purchases).
- Public Token: The public API token for integration (displayed for custom integrations).
- Private Token: The private API token for integration (displayed for custom integrations).
- After making changes, click Save New Settings to apply them.
-
Launch import: Instantly trigger a data import from your configured files by clicking the Import button. This is useful for updating your data without waiting for scheduled imports.
-
Data import logs: View the history and status of recent data imports. The panel shows the timestamp of the last import and provides access to detailed logs, including which files were processed and any actions taken.
-
Danger zone: Permanently delete your website and all associated data from Visidea by clicking the Delete button. This action is irreversible and should be used with caution.
If you integrated your website using a plugin (Shopify, Magento, Prestashop, WordPress/WooCommerce), you typically do not need to configure these settings manually. For custom integrations, use the provided tokens and file URLs to enable data exchange between your website and Visidea.
