Strategies

The Strategies section in Visidea allows you to create, manage, and automate personalized messaging campaigns for your users. Strategies are used to send targeted emails based on user actions, segments, or specific triggers, helping you engage your audience and drive conversions.

Main Features

  • Search Bar: Quickly find existing strategies by searching for their names.
  • Strategy List: View all current strategies in a table. Each strategy can be edited, analyzed (view stats), or deleted using the actions menu.
  • Add Strategy: Click the ADD STRATEGY button to create a new messaging strategy.

Creating a Strategy

When adding or editing a strategy, you can configure:

  • Active: Toggle the strategy on or off.
  • Name: The name of the strategy (e.g., "Benvenuto/a", "Ordine Effettuato").
  • Subject: The subject line for the email.
  • Design Email: Open the email editor to design the content and layout of your message.
  • Send a Test Email: Send a preview to your own address to check formatting and content.
  • Send to a specific segment: Optionally, target a specific user segment.
  • Trigger: Choose what event will trigger the strategy (e.g., Action, Time elapsed).
  • Trigger Action: Select the specific action (e.g., Welcome Email, Made An Order, Abandoned Cart).
  • Strategy: Choose the recommendation logic or content to include (e.g., Popolars, New items, Collaborative Filtering, Content Based).

Click SAVE to activate the strategy. The system will automatically send emails to users when the trigger conditions are met.

Example Workflow

  1. Click ADD STRATEGY to start a new strategy.
  2. Enter a name and subject for the email.
  3. Design the email content using the built-in editor.
  4. Optionally, send a test email to yourself.
  5. Set the trigger and action (e.g., send a welcome email when a user registers).
  6. Optionally, target a specific segment.
  7. Choose the recommendation logic or content to include.
  8. Click SAVE to activate the strategy.

Viewing Strategy Analytics

You can view detailed analytics for each strategy by clicking the stats icon in the strategies list. This opens a dashboard showing the delivery and engagement metrics for every recipient.

Analytics Table

The analytics table includes:

  • Recipient: The email address of the user who received the message.
  • Status: The delivery status (e.g., sent).
  • Opens: The number of times the email was opened.
  • Clicks: The number of times links in the email were clicked.
  • Sent At: The date and time the email was sent.
  • Actions: Click the eye icon to preview the exact email sent to that recipient.

You can also search for a specific recipient using the search bar at the top of the analytics page.

Email Preview

Clicking the eye icon in the Actions column opens a preview of the actual email sent to the recipient, including all personalized content and formatting.
